Ms. Kasper’s practice focuses in the areas of estate tax planning, estate and family wealth planning, trust and estate administration, advice to trustees and beneficiaries, probate law, charitable gift planning, and representation of tax exempt organizations.
Prior to founding Tufts, Stephenson & Kasper LLP in 1999, Ms. Kasper was a partner in the law firm of Jackson Tufts Cole & Black, LLP. Prior to private practice, Ms. Kasper also served as a Trial Attorney in the Commercial Litigation Branch, Civil Division, U.S. Department of Justice, and as a law clerk to the Honorable John W. Kern, III, of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Ms. Kasper has lectured and written on such diverse topics as international estate planning (including planning for expatriation), planning for higher education expenses, health care planning, including planning for end-of-life decisions, planning for a decedent's business interests and other topics in estate planning.
